This cute colorwork sweater is a giant hit on Ravelry with over 5,000 projects!
It's a very fun stranded colorwork sweater, top-down and knit in one piece. The colorwork is pretty simple and addictive! The original version is a cropped sweater with short sleeves, but you can easily make yours longer.
We knit our first sample in Manos del Uruguay Silk Blend Semi-Solid and one Silk Blend Space Dye, and it is the squishiest, softest thing around. AND it shows the colorwork beautifully! See all the yarn details on our Ravelry project page.
We're doing a 2-session Knit Along starting in October, and we'll meet up on Zoom to get started. We can discuss whatever you want - need help figuring out what size to make? Help with your swatch? Or are you all good with that, and need help with the colorwork? We got you! Our Knit Alongs are low-pressure - get it done at your own pace. We'll meet again 2 weeks later to see if you have any follow-up questions, or just want to show off your accomplishments and chat.
Yarn notes: stranded colorwork is best in a wool or wool blend (does not work well in cottons). Let us know if you need help picking out your yarn. The pattern calls for a DK yarn, here are some options:
