Coming Full Circle with Sarah Bond
Spend the day with Philly's own Sarah Bond! The exciting Coming Full Circle class has color, paper piecing, curved piecing, and more, with simple to advanced techniques.
Note, this class meets on Zoom. Don't worry, Sarah has taught many classes this way and makes it very fun and engaging! Class runs 10am - 4pm EDT (Philadelphia time zone), with a generous break for lunch.
Materials:
A good selection of fabrics, fat quarters work really well. Check out our Fat Quarter Packs here.
Aim to have a variety of prints, print scales, and color values. Darks and lights work really well! Don't be afraid to mix stripes with dots, or florals with solids. Consider using all solids or just neutrals...come in for help choosing if you need guidance.
Tools:
Cutting mat, ruler, rotary cutter
Sewing machine with a fresh universal or Microtex needle
Neutral color of sew-all thread (grey works well on most everything)
Iron/ironing surface
Scissors, snips, pins
Other:
Pencil/Pen for taking notes
Your phone or camera (photos can help with fabric choices)
Snacks, plenty of water, tea, coffee, etc
