Sew an A-Line Jersey Skirt
You will draft your own pattern to fit you perfectly! We will take measurements, plan the shape, make the pattern, and then make the skirt. You may have a little bit to finish up at home but you'll know all the things!
Skirt is knee-length and the yardage given below is for a skirt about 22" long...you can make it longer, but talk to us first about the fabric requirements.
Materials needed:
Sewing machine with Jersey or Stretch needle
Sew-All Thread
Sharp Scissors
1-1/2 yard 58" wide Stretch Knit Jersey
1" or 1-1/4" elastic to fit your waist
1-1/4 yard non-fusible interfacing or pattern tracing material
Chalk or marking pencil
*limited number of sewing machines will be available to borrow and must be booked in advance. It is always better to be learning on your own machine - it's the one you will be using at home!
