Conquer Your Fear of Paper Piecing
Demystifying the art of foundation paper piecing (by machine) a quilt block. Tips and Trick and Techniques. Class project will be a set of coasters!
Materials:
Assorted 4" + scraps or fat quarters, you'll need at least 4-5 different fabrics in coordinating & contrasting fabrics. Hint: one of the blocks is a heart; the others won't be color-specific.
You'll also need:
Sewing machine, it's best if you can do a straight stitch with the needle in center position
Open-toe foot is optional
Neutral thread
Small cutting mat
Rotary cutter
Small ruler
Iron/ironing surface for your workspace is optional
We will include the printed paper piecing patterns, they will include some rectangular, triangular and irregular sections for maximum practicing fun.
