Make & Wear Your Reverse Appliqué
In this class, you’ll transform a simple sweatshirt into something completely your own using reverse appliqué. We’ll layer fabrics, play with color and shape, and cut away to reveal a design that’s uniquely yours. It’s a technique that feels a little magical as it comes to life—and even better when you get to wear it.

Supplies:
- fabric - this could be a fat quarter, piece of a panel, something from your stash or pieced block for the design
- small sharp scissors for detailed cutting (applique scissors, embroidery scissors, etc.)
- sweatshirt
- thread
- fabric scissors
- pins
- sewing machine
All materials (except the sweatshirt) are available in the shop
*We have sewing machines available to borrow for an additional cost of $20 and they must be booked in advance.
Please add the loaner machine to your order
