Sew A Jersey Knit T-Shirt
Curious about sewing with Jersey knit? Maybe a little intimidated? Try our T-Shirt class!
We will be using one of our patterns here in the shop to make a simple two-piece shirt (no separate sleeves!). If you have a shirt like that with no sleeve seams, you may bring that along. Skills covered: cutting the fabric, sewing with Jersey, hemming, and the neckband.
Materials needed:
1 yard cotton Jersey knit fabric, 54"-58"width
Note - this will work for up to women's XL; for larger sizes you will need 2 yards.
Sewing machine*, stretch Jersey needle, fabric scissors, pins.
*We have sewing machines available to rent for an additional cost of $20 and they must be booked in advance.
