KIDS Learn to Crochet
For kids ages 8-16!
In this two session class, we’ll cover everything you need to know to crochet – from the basics of how to hold your hook to the four most common crochet stitches.
Please purchase all your supplies before your first class. You will need:
- Worsted weight yarn (size 4). We recommend Kelbourne Keystone or Encore Worsted Solids or Colorspun. You only need one skein/cake. Please choose yarn that is light in color with a smooth texture. It can be hard to see exactly where to insert the hook when you use dark or multicolor yarn with a lot of fuzz or texture.
- Size 5.0 or 5.5mm crochet hook
For left handers: you can totally learn how to crochet! It's best if you sit across from the teacher rather than next because everything you do is mirrored.
