This versatile pattern allows the confident beginner to design their own quilt. The basic circle can be made into a baby or lap quilt using one circle or a larger quilt using multiple circles. This project is fat quarter friendly.
Supplies:
Rotary cutter with new blade
9 degree circle wedge ruler by Marilyn Doheny
Paper cutting scissors
Thread snips
24.5” x 3.5” or 24” x 6” acrylic ruler
Spool of good quality sewing thread
2-10”squares of freezer paper
Fabric:
7-10 fat quarters*
1.5 yards coordinating background fabric**
All of these materials can be purchased at Stitch Central! Come by before the class to get help finding everything you need.
*If using 10 fat quarters, each fabric will repeat 4 times. If using 7 fat quarters each, fabric will repeat 5-6 times.
**Background fabric should have 42” of usable width. You will need extra fabric for borders, backing and binding.
