This is the third beginner class in our Learn to Knit Series for knitters who already know the basics (cast on, knit, purl, increasing, decreasing) OR for more advanced knitters who have never knit in the round and want to give it a try. We will show you 2 ways to handle the top of your hat, when the knitting is too small to go around the 16" needle so be prepared to purchase a second circular needle or a set of double pointed needles in the same size as the body of your hat - we will talk about this in the first class so you will have time to decide!
If you want to learn to knit, we have a class for that!

In this class, we'll learn to knit-in-the-round by making a simple hat in either chunky or worsted weight yarn. The pattern will be provided.

Please purchase all your supplies before your first class. You will need:

• 1 skein of worsted weight yarn (size 4). We recommend Malabrigo Rios or Berroco Alpaca. OR chunky weight such as Herriot Great Alpaca or Malabrigo Chunky 
• 16" circular needle in recommended size for your yarn choice
