Learn to Knit Socks - Magic Loop, DPN, or Flexi Flips

We will be making toe-up socks using your choice of knitting style:
-the magic loop method on one long 32" circular needle
-Double Pointed needles (DPN's)
-Flexi Flips
The first session will focus on getting the toe cap done. You'll need to have the foot complete before the second session (homework alert!), and the second class will be all about turning the heel.
You can choose to do the class with sock yarn and small needles (like size 2), but we recommend you knit your first socks with DK or worsted weight yarn...they will work up much more quickly, you will learn all the relevant skills, and you'll end up with cozy slipper socks!
Materials:
100g yarn of your choice
We like ColourLab Sock DK with nylon for strength
Needle in the chosen style, in a size to match the yarn
We will provide the pattern.
All of these materials are available at Stitch Central! Please stop by before the class start time to purchase what you need.

We love supportive parents and grandparents! To keep classes comfortable and fair, anyone staying in the classroom must be registered.
| Skill Level: | Intermediate |
| Skill Details: | This is not suitable for brand new knitters! You should know how to knit and purl with confidence, perform a "KFB" increase, and experience with double pointed needles is a big asset. |
