Intro to Rope Bowls
This is a confident beginner class! In other words, you should already be familiar with sewing machines.

In this class, you will learn how to make a rope bowl using either rope, fabric scraps and various decorative stitches. These bowls (or baskets, if you make it bigger!) are great for organizing. You can add a decorative knot, use fun colored thread, or wrap the rope with thread! It's all up to your imagination!

This class is ages 16+
Materials needed:
Clothesline cord or macrame cord
Fabric scraps (optional)
Size 100/16 Denim needle
50wt Thread, either matching the rope or contrasting the rope. Your choice!
*We have a limited number of sewing machines available to borrow and they must be booked in advance. If you need to borrow one, please let us know immediately!
If you're planning on using your own machine, please make sure it is good working condition.
We can provide additional materials such as scissors, pins and seam rippers, but feel free to bring your own.
