Accessories Crochet Along

Now that you know the basics of crocheting, you’re ready to make some accessories. Join us once a month for 5 months to expand your skills by creating small accessories. These may be perfect little gifts for friends and family or to treat yourself. Each month we’ll offer a beginner and an advanced beginner option for each type of accessory including hats, fingerless gloves, scarves/cowls, baskets and socks.
We’ll email you links to 2 - 3 free or inexpensive patterns each month so you can buy your materials ahead of class. Then we’ll spend two hours together starting the project and learning any new stitches and tips and tricks for success.
We’ll start by making hats. Please see the pattern option links below.
North Van Toque - Easy Beginner Hat
Caribbean Sand Sunhat pattern - Beginner
Snowy Puff Beanie - Advanced Beginner Hat
All of the hats use worsted weight yarns. The North Van Toque sample was crocheted with one skein of Malabrigo Rios on a G/4.0mm hook, the Caribbean Sand Sunhat sample was crocheted with two skeins (holding 2 strands) of Coastal Cotton yarn on a J/6.0 mm hook, and the Snowy Puff Beanie was crocheted with two skeins of Kelbourne Keystone on an H/5.0mm hook.Stretch your crocheting skills and make some new friends!
