Ranunculus Sweater
Join us to knit the Ranunculus top-down sweater, consistently in the top ten most popular patterns on Ravelry.
Why so popular?? So many reasons!
-It's a quick knit on large needles
-It works with a huge range of yarn weights, from fingering weight for an airy top, to Aran for a winter wooly.
-It's interesting, with some fun stitches to keep things spicy
-It has a big range of possible sizes
-It uses a small amount of yarn due to the large needle size
-It has several options for wider neckline and different sleeves
-It's flattering and pretty!
In the first session, we'll work on the special cast on and getting the neck fit/sizing established.
In the second session, it's all about the special stitches!
The remainder of the sweater is fairly typical, so please join us in one of our many clinics for help finishing.
YOU WILL NEED:
The pattern, available here.
Yarn: your choice of yarn in the stated amount from the pattern. We used our Bubbly Silk yarn, one skein for the smallest size with short sleeves, 2 skeins for a larger/longer sleeved version.
Needles: US 8 & 10, in 16" and 32" lengths, or size needed to get gauge
