Starlight Quilt Class
Create a quilt that will have everyone oohing and ahhing! Great for experienced quilters when you want a fun quilt.
Prework - to maximize our time in class, please come to class with your fabric cut. The pattern provides great instructions for cutting. If you need help prior to class, come to a Sewing or Quilting Clinic for assistance.
Materials needed for a BABY sized quilt (45"x45"):
- 1 layer cake of 10" squares of your choice - 24 pieces will be used OR 6 Fat Quarters
- 1 1/8 yards of background fabric
- 2/3 yards for border (if desired)
- Starlight Quilt Pattern
To finish the quilt, you'll also need
- 1/2 yards of fabric for binding
- 4 yards of fabric for backing (or 2 yards of 108" backing fabric)
Additional necessary supplies:
- Sewing Machine
- neutral sewing thread
- scissors
- pins
- 9-1/2" or larger square rotary cutting ruler
- favorite marking tool that will be visible on the back of contrast fabric such as Frixion pen
- 3-1/2" or larger square ruler
*If you need to borrow a sewing machine, we have a limited number available and they must be booked in advance. Book Here. It is always better to be learning on your own machine - it's the one you will be using at home!
We have all of these things available at our shop! Please purchase your materials before class so we can get started on time.
