Redwood Tote
This is a mid-sized, crossbody tote with front zippered pocket, back slip pocket, zip top closure and reinforced base. The handy short handles make for easy grabbing and the crossbody strap keeps you hands free! You'll love this tote!

Regular: 10.5” wide by 2.5” deep, 13” tall
Materials:
Redwood Tote pattern - printed pattern
Exterior fabric: 1/2 yd (2 fat quarters may be used - see cutting layout) - recommend canvas or waxed canvas DO NOT INTERFACE
Lining fabric (includes interior pocket): 1 yd (3/4 yd if using non-directional fabric) - recommend quilting cotton
Accent fabric (reinforced base, handles and strap): 1/3 yd - recommend quilting cotton
Pellon SF101 woven interfacing: 2 1/2 yds (2-1/4 yds)
Pellon Peltex 72F heavyweight interfacing for the base: 2" x 11"
Zippers - zipper width is 1", do not use zipper by the yard
Top closure: 12"
Optional Materials
Leather Handles: [2] 3/4" x 15"
8mm Rivets: [8]
Leather/Ribbon for Pulls: [2] 1/4" x 5"
Thread, scissors, pins, clips and other sewing supplies.
Glue Pen
Please have all fabric cut, labeled, and fused to relevant interfacings before class. DO NOT INTERFACE EXTERIOR FABRIC. If you want a quilted tote, please have fabric quilted according to pattern instructions before the class.
For help with any of this, please attend a sewing clinic or private lesson prior to the class.
