Raincheck Vest
Raincheck is knit from the bottom-up and features A-line shaping in the body and a diagonal line of eyelets along the Left Front for some unique visual interest. At the underarm the Fronts and Back are split and worked separately to the shoulders. Then shoulders are attached using the Three Needle Bind Off technique
This charming design used aran weight yarn. If you choose a yarn that isn't 100% linen, your hem and edges may roll.

- Diagonal Eyelet st pattern (k2tog, yo)
- k2tog (knit 2 together)
- ssk (slip slip knit)
- k3tog (knit 3 together)
- Three Needle Bind-Off Technique
Class Supplies:
- To participate, you’ll need to purchase the Raincheck Vest (Elizabeth Smith Knits) pattern from Ravelry.
- Needles:
- US 10/6 mm 32”/80 cm circ, or size needed to obtain gauge
- 1 spare US 10/6 mm 24”/60 cm or 32”/80 cm circ (or size used to obtain gauge)
- US 10.5/6.5 mm 24”/60 cm or 32”/80 cm circ, or 1 needle size larger than that used to obtain gauge (to be used during Three Needle BO).
- Tools/Accessories:
- Stitch holders or waste yarn
- Removable stitch marker
- Tapestry Needle
- Aran Yarn - determine the amount you need based on the size you are making
