Kids Learn to Sew a Halloween Tote Bag
Ages 8-16!
This is another class in our Learn to Sew series! Get ready for spooky season by creating a fun Halloween-themed tote bag! Choose two festive fabrics and learn how to make a fully lined tote. It's the perfect bag for carrying Halloween treats, library books, or your everyday essentials while building your sewing skills.
Materials needed:
- ½ yard exterior fabric, like canvas or quilting cotton
- if using quilting cotton for the exterior fabric, 1/2 yard fusible interfacing or fusible fleece will be needed to add stability to your bag
- ½ yard lining fabric, like quilting cotton
- 1½ yard belting
- MATCHING THREAD! Must have!
All materials are available in the shop
*We have sewing machines available to borrow for an additional cost of $20 and they must be booked in advance.
Please add the loaner machine to your order.
If you are planning on using your own machine, please make sure it is good working condition.
