Cuff-Down Socks

Ready to knit your first pair of cuff-down socks?
There's nothing quite like wearing a pair of hand-knit socks! In this class, you'll learn the classic cuff-down sock construction from the ribbing all the way to the toe.
We'll cover:

Knitting in the round using either double-pointed needles or the magic loop method

Heel flap and heel turn construction

Picking up and knitting the gusset

Foot shaping
-
Grafting the toe for a seamless finish
By the end of class, you'll have the skills and confidence to knit beautiful, custom-fit socks for yourself, family, and friends.
Materials- Broken Record Broken Rib Socks pattern
- 350-400 yards of fingering weight yarn
- US2/3mm circular needle with 32-inch cable for magic loop
