Crochet for Knitters

There are many knitting patterns that call for crochet in one form or another. In this class we will learn to hold our hook and tension our yarn in our left hand, practice the chain stitch (for use in provisional cast on), work a single crochet, and a slip stitch (used for joining 2 pieces of knitting together), and if there's time we might even tackle a decorative edging.

What to bring:

-A knitting sample approx. 4" x 4". Stockinette please.
-A contrast color yarn of the same weight as your swatch
-Crochet hook to match that yarn (generally .5 or 1mm larger than the size knitting needle used for swatch)
