Brimfield Blocks- Advanced English Paper Piecing
Class Description
Have you marveled at the fussy cutting and “impossible” seaming that you have been seeing lately? EPP is all over Instagram these days! In this three hour class you will learn to fussy cut multiple images and how to assemble them to create fascinating design in shapes you never thought possible.
Supplies you'll need:
Basic sewing supplies:
Thread:
Regular sewing or hand quilting thread
Fine sewing thread (I like silk in neutral color - gray or tan)
Hand sewing needles
Regular for basting
Fine for stitching (I like Clover Black Gold)
Scissors for fabric
Pen and pencil
Glue stick specifically for fabric (not Elmers please)
Rotary cutter & mat (a small cutter & small mat are fine for this project)
NOTE: the rest of the materials will be provided by the teacher, with a $5 fee payable on the day. All the materials will be available for either purchase or special order in the shop.
