Homemade Inspirations |
It's those magical days where you know that you can do a quick holiday project if only someone could just deliver some inspiration! Well, I rounded up some Free Patterns for you!
|
I made this Candlelight Stocking from Ruby Star Society and my kids tell me it is a great size!
Some other stocking patterns from our fabric suppliers; Secret Santa stocking from Moda, these are tiny!
This Stocking pattern from Art Gallery makes 3 stockings!
A Chalkboard Stocking from Windham is the easiest.
The Sleigh Bells Stockings from Robert Kaufman have some nice applique dots or easy piecing that make them special |
*************************************************************** We have had lots of people asking about Tree Skirts!
The Candlelight tree skirt from Moda is probably the easiest.
The Sparkle Tree Skirt from Robert Kaufmanis for our serious quilting friends who are full speed -create-a-precious-family-heirloom
Then there is the Frosted Pines tree skirt from Windham, also not for quilty beginners, but there is some serious magic that could be made with this one .

***************************************************************** These Christmas in the City placemats from Art Gallery have gone right to the top of my sewing list! I LOVE THEM!
I found a quick and stylish table runner from Moda that uses a charm pack (it says 4 1/2", but really, make it a charm pack and be done by dinnertime)
This Cucina table runner from Windham is perfect for a feature print that you really want to show!
If you really want to take this homemade thing to the next level- Pot Holders and Oven Mitts from Robert Kaufman. Or these cute grabber Matilda Pot Holders from Art Gallery. |
But really- the best table runner is gonna be the one Danielle designed. Quilt-As-You-Go Table Runner. Her tutorial video has gone a little famous over on our YouTube channel.
One last project, this one you can do with kids. These are a little addictive, you have been warned!
Woven Star Christmas Ornaments! These directions are from Moda Fabrics
We would be remiss if we didn't show you some of our Christmas fabrics so you can pre-shop for your visit.
